SURPRISE! Iām releasing a novella on August 21st! And the best part? You can get it for free. All you need to do is show proof of preorder my next contemporary romance, BACK FOR SECONDS. We still have plenty of time until August 21st ā and until October 6th! So save the below link and Iāll make sure to remind you as well.
As Iām sure you all know by now, Iām a spooky ass bitch. I looooove anything paranormal, witchy, occult-adjacent, ghost-y, ghoulish. Writing a shifter romance that takes place under a strawberry moon was SO fun. Truly, this novella is just a romp. A hoot and a holler. Fun, sexy, and fast.
Also ā I apologize for any typos in this newsletter, in the blurb copy. I am sort of running on E. Hoping to regain my grasp of the English language in 7-10 business days.
About WILD RUN
When a small prey shifter is given the chance to embrace her wild side, she must decide if she trusts her fellow-shifter companion enough to give into her instincts. Does Iris Fench have the courage to finally run free? Or will the intensity of pack lifeāāthe politics, the traditions, the bondsāā scare her back into her shell?
Iris Fenech is a small town journalist with a pretty big secretāāsheās a bunny rabbit. Well, sheās a were-bunny rabbit. But being a shifter isn't something she has ever wanted to embrace or celebrate. While the rest of her community gathers without fear and indulges in wild runs during the full moon, Iris and her family stick to their backyard. The risks, they know first hand, are far too great for small prey shifters like the Fenech family.
Despite her trepidations, Iris is still fiercely loyal to her fellow shifters, and when supernatural disturbances in the forests around Echidna start to break containment, she jumps at the chance to cover the storyā and effectively bury it. The last thing they need is someone becoming suspicious of whatās uprooting hundred-year-old trees and leaving behind oversized paw prints.
Her research leads her to The PeacekeeperāDev Devereux, a Pennsylvania forest ranger and were-fox from a motley pack of shifters. His job? Keep the peace between the shifter community of Echidna and the aggressive werewolf pack thatās been encroaching on their territory for years. Only problem is that the Holland werewolf pack seems to delight in antagonizing their neighbors to the south. When a chance encounter with a werewolf puts Iris face-to-face with her biggest fears, Dev makes her an offer: join him and his pack for a two-week shifters-only retreat in the mountains where heāll teach her everything she needs to know about embracing her powers.
Iris knows she needs to say yes. She canāt spend the rest of her life holding back, limiting herself to the small plot of land behind her family cottage. But accepting Devās proposal isnāt just about breaking down her walls and facing her fearsā it means embracing her wild side, the animal part of her Dev makes impossible to deny and the intoxicating, exhilarating life he could give her.
